Special meeting of the Sub-committee on Sustainable Development on COP 24 Outcomes and Roadmap to COP 25

The 24th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP24) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 14th session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP14) took place from the 3rd to the 14th December 2018 in Katowice, Poland.

In preparation for COP 24, the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States organized a Special Meeting of the Sub-committee on Sustainable Development on 5h and 6th November 2018 which supported the ACP Group in the development of an ACP Issues Paper on Katowice Climate Change Conference (COP 24).

The ACP Secretariat is now organizing a Special Post-COP24 meeting to assess the outcomes of COP 24 and discuss the way forward on implementation.

The Special Post-COP24 meeting is scheduled to take place on the 5th and 6th March, 2019 at the ACP Secretariat, Brussels, Belgium.
