The Intra-ACP GCCA+ Programme at COP 25 – Madrid
The 25th Session of the Conference of Parties (COP25) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will take place from the 2nd to 13th December 2019, in Madrid (Spain) under the Presidency of the Chilean Government.
In the margins of this conference, the Secretariat of the ACP Group of States will co-organise a series of side events, including on the following topics:
• The IPCC Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate (SROCC): Implications and way forward for ACP Small Island States, Coastal and low-lying zones;
• Incorporating Indigenous and Local Knowledge into Climate Change Adaptation policies and practices in ACP regions; and
• Technical support to ACP countries for reporting of their updated and revised NDCs: Presentation of the ACP NDC web-based tool.
